Team Membership
Members of our team are expected to display our core values. We have a student code of conduct that each student must sign and also have co-signed by parents. We participate enthusiastically at tournaments, and want everyone to join in on the fun.
In order to join our team, a student must complete an application. During initial team meetings, team expectations are communicated and students are able to ask questions, and any concerns are addressed. Parents are also informed of the expectations and are expected to support the student and the team in meeting its goals. Students are accepted onto the team on a probationary basis up through the first tournament, but are given the opportunity to immediately contribute, learn and have their ideas heard. Students submit grades at the end of every marking period as academics are our top priority. Students with grades below a C are expected to take a break from robotics until they have a plan to improve their grades.
